This machine (with lumped loading device) is adopted to produce compact conductor of long bare aluminum wire, copper wires and ACSR. it is also used to produce sector compressed stranding conductor and round compressed drawing conductor. The main technical characteristics of the machine is that its bobbins are evenly located circularly (four equal degree dividing) around the cage. It is easy to load and unload due to lumped loading device, the position-setting is both correct and reliable, the rigidity and strength of the machine is high, the general performance of the machine is good. Its rotating inertia is small and running speed is very high. The machine is driven by 36 variable steps drive gear-box, with dual active, dual hauling capstan, its haul force is so strong , the wire distributing collar adopt natural wire distribution for preventing abrasion damage of wire cores when stranding. Wire pay-off tension is controlled pneumatically to guarantee constant tension in full loaded bobbin or empty bobbin. There is a special automatic emergency stop device in case of wire break. The device can control directly every pay-off bobbin in the cage .When wire-broken, the entire machine will automatically stop at once. The machine is suitable for long length, big across-area XLPE cable production.

4、 CONSTRUCTION OF MAIN COMPONENTS


4.1 630 end cone-spindle type pay-off
4.11 630 pay-off is adopted end cone-spindle design to ensure height adjustable mechanical,
4.12 Butterfly-shaped tension is used for pay-off tension control; the tension value can be adjusted.

4.2 Frame carriage for 6. 12. 18bobbins
4.2.1 A ground shaft drives gear-box, which makes stranding cage rotate. It runs steadily and safely Cage rotating, converse rotating and idle rotating can be done by operating handle. It is easy to change steps and positioning.

4.2.2 As lumped loading, frame is positioned by a single motor. The main motor and the loading motor are connected through the clutch. As the clutch changes direction, the main motor and loading motor a controlled by two travel switches respectively. When the clutch is directed towards the main motor ground shaft, the main motor can? work.

4.2.3 As loading, the cage is positioned by contactor on the cage and proximity switches. Brake is through 4 groups of positioning plane brakes.

4.2.4 Emergency stop device for wire break adopts non-contact sensor. This device controls directly every bobbin. As long as wire is broken in any one of a bobbin, the detector will send out a signal to stop the machine for the purpose of timely re-wiring. (The distance between the two broken ends is 2 meter or so.)

4.2.5 Lumped loading is done by pneumatic pintle. After bobbin is loaded tightly, the mechanic safety device starts working to make sure of absolute safety in the course of stranding. And what? more, a limited switch is set on the mechanic safety device to control the main motor. Only when all the safety devices and limit switches are ready, the main motor can start.

4.2.6 Pneumatic control is applied to the bobbin tension value is adjusted through pressure regulation valve in order to guarantee the tension constant when bobbin is from full-loaded to empty. The cage have continuous air supply device.


4.3 Lumped loading and unloading device

4.3.1 Lumped loading works horizontally and it compromises four steps: Griping, turning, moving and loading. The whole loading and unloading action is very fast. It is easy to operate and reliable

4.3.2 When the loading carriage travels to the location where the bobbin is stored, it will rise vertically to grip the bobbin. Once the bobbin is gripped, a mechanical locking system will lock the bobbin and a turning motor will turned the bobbin to the horizontal position. This device has limit control. The turning motor will turn the bobbin only when the bobbin is locked. In this way, safety of loading and unloading can be ensured.


4.3.3 Applicable bobbin size: PND 630

4.4 Closing die stand

4.4.1 Behind every cage, there is a group of closing die stand and roller compressing stand, closing die stand can be adjusted forward and backward.

4.4.2 Wire-closing cabling or one-time pressing-drawing cabling can be accomplished by closing die stand.

4.4.3 Rolling compressed stand is used for producing sector conductor.

4.5 Meter counter

4.5.1 The meter counter adopts lever-roller contacting type and digital display. The meter counter is accurate and reliable. It also has presetting function and coefficient correcting function.

4.5.2 Main drive and 36 steps gear-box drive device

4.5.3 Main drive adopts DC motor. Gear adopts grinding hard surface to guarantee accuracy.

4.6 2500 dual hauling device

4.6.1 2500 dual hauling device adopts dual active, dual capstan. Nature wire distribution is applied to wire distribution wheel in case that wire cores are abraded during standing.

4.6.2 The capstan with R shape groove have pneumatically device which prevent wire loosen and wire cores are abraded during stranding.

4.6.3 There is safety shield in gear ring.


4.7 3150 rail type take-up and traverse stand

4.7.1 The stand may move on the rail laterally. Bobbins are gripped up and down driven by electricity. There is position limit control to make sure of machine reliability.
4.7.2 Take-up is driven by a three steps gear-box through a DC motor.
4.7.3 Traversing is through AC motor by transducer which drives portal stand moving laterally along the rail. When take-up reel turns a round, traversing will move a pitch accordingly.
